The winery was founded by owners Lawrence and Linda Ehlers. Their specialty wines are Blackberry, Apple, Cranberry Blend, Plum, and Orange Blossom (a desert wine). Chateau Laurinda Vineyards has just relocated to Sparta, NC. They are still in construction and will be closed to public visitation until the middle of March of 2001. There is a new Bed and Breakfast house they will be opened the spring of 2001!!
